 Anderson vs. Lienart
Matt Lienart thinks he is getting a raw deal. It was announced Thursday that former Browns quarterback, Derek Anderson, will get the start Saturday against the Bears. Lienart has thrown 13 passes so far in the preseason, but, although he hasn’t turned the ball over, he has yet to put together a scoring drive.
“I don’t know how we judge performance when you have 13 pass attempts to the other guys 40,” Lienart told The Arizona Republic on Thursday. “I’m not going to sit here and complain and point the finger. I have to get better and I’m going to get better.”
Lienart could not even get a first down in the 3 series he played against the Titans on Monday. He struggled against the Titans blitz happy defense and had 3 consecutive three-and-outs before being replaced by Anderson.
