The Raiders really never got anything going in the game against the Chiefs. Oakland couldn’t establish the run early or didn’t try and that put the game on JaMarcus Russell to win it late. Lucky for the Raiders he did win it for them despite being outgained in yardage 409-166. Kansas City contributed to the win as well with bad play calls and poor performance on both sides of the ball. Panthers @ Falcons- Falcons. Atlanta has a great offense whereas Carolina’s offense has not been that good. Jake Delholmme is struggling. He struggled last week in the Panthers loss to the Eagles.
Rams @ Redskins- Redskins. The Redskins have a stronger team than the Rams.
Texans @ Titans- The Titans. The Titans have a better and stronger team than the Texans.
Saints @ Eagles- This is another tough one. The Eagles are a strong team but they have some questions at quarterback....

The Oakland Raiders came out strong against the San Diego Chargers in game one. They could have won the game late, but instead they let Philip Rivers go all the way down field so Darren Sproles could score the game winning touchdown. For some reason Oakland forgets that prevent defense does not prevent anything but winning. Man coverage was working all game then John Marshall and/or Al Davis called for the prevent defense. Here are my predictions for Week 1 of the 2009 NFL season.
Titans @ Steelers- This one is hard. I think I have to go with the Steelers. However, it will probably be close.
Dolphins @ Falcons- This is another hard one. I think it will be the Falcons. I could be wrong, though.
