Brett Favre has officially signed with the Vikings. Haha, just kidding. Now I as much as I like Favre, I have to be real. Brett is almost 40 years old. he also recently had surgery on his throwing arm to repair a partially torn bicep. That doesn’t sound good. Even if his arm is feeling fine now that doesn’t mean it will be feeling good in the second half of the season. Luckily for Favre, if he does decide to come back and play for the Vikings, he has Adrian Peterson.
I think that playing in Minnesota isn’t such a bad idea. He wants to play for another season and the Vikings want him to play for them. They were a playoff team last year and if Brett plays for them he might get them to the Super Bowl. He’s been there before and has a couple rings.
Maybe if Favre comes back, no one will talk about Jay Cutler anymore. I believe we will be seeing Favre in a Vikings uniform in 2009. If that happens, ’09 will be an interesting season in the NFC North. All I can say is “Good Luck Brett, you might need it.” As long as he doesn’t throw 22 interceptions everything will be fine.
