Okay, so not too long ago, I wrote that Brett Favre would more than likely return to football, yet again. Well the “undecided” QB is not doing much to keep me from believing that he is coming back for his 20th season. On Thursday Brett said that he “would love to go beat the Saints”. But that is not the only thing that is making me think the number 4 is leaning towards another return. Even the Minnesota Vikings believe that he is going to be lining up under center for the Purple People Eaters. Vic Carucci, who writes for nfl.com, has reported that a majority of Vikings’ players, coaches, and officials think he is coming back for another season. Should Favre come back, he would make about $13 million. If he doesn’t, the team keeps that money. Of course it has never been about the dollar signs for the Old Gunslinger, who has repeatedly told the media that he just loves to play football. So fans will have to wait and see if Favre does decide to return, because I know it won’t happen until two weeks before pre-season starts.
