Sprained toe sidelines T.O.
Terrell Owens missed practice Tuesday because of a sprained toe, which the Buffalo Bills' receiver had said was sore following the team's preseason opener Sunday.
Coach Dick Jauron confirmed the injury but offered no details on how Owens was hurt. Owens was not at a team walkthrough earlier in the day.
Owens referred to an aching toe in a comment posted on his Twitter site shortly after the Bills lost in the Hall of Fame game. Owens had two catches for 27 yards in his Bills debut. He played one series, as did most of the team's offensive starters.
Team officials and Owens did not mention any injury to reporters after the game.
