Bengals: 11 picks


The Bengals will receive four extra picks in the April 24-25 draft after the NFL awarded its compensatory picks Monday.

The team will receive an extra pick in the third round (No. 98 overall), one in the sixth (No. 209) and two in the seventh (Nos. 249 and 252).

The Bengals and Tennessee tied for the most picks awarded with the maximum of four.

The Bengals will have 11 total picks in the draft; they will pick sixth in each round in addition to the compensatory selections at the end of the rounds.

The Bengals received those picks for losses suffered during last year's free agency period, which included defensive end Justin Smith, linebacker Landon Johnson, defensive lineman Bryan Robinson and center Alex Stepanovich.

One other team in the AFC North received a compensatory pick -- Pittsburgh (No. 169, fifth round).
