OH NO!!!!!
In my last blog, I talked about the Broncos having a good season. Well I had originally predicted that the Chargers would win the AFC West. Although the Broncos began the season 6-0, it didn’t take long for fans to see that it really was too good to be true.
After win six in a row, the Broncos have since lost four in a row. Of course, injuries to some key players haven’t helped. Also, Denver’s defense looks like a lot like they did last year when they missed the playoffs for the third year in a row.
So who is to blame for the losing streak? Some may want to say the quarterback is at fault. Listen to me, Kyle Orton is not the problem. Neither is Chris Simms, who started last night in their loss the Chargers. It’s not the coach’s fault either. I don’t even blame the defense. This losing streak cannot be blamed on anyone person. Football is a team sport and the Broncos need to figure things out as a team. They need to get back on track and they need to do it fast. They play the Giants on Thursday for a Thanksgiving Day game that can be seen on NFL Network.
The Giants are a really great team, and if Denver can’t get things worked out, they are doomed. This is a very sad thought for Broncos fans. As long as they don’t loss to the Raiders and the Chiefs, thing will be sort of okay.
But I have some good news for all those die hard Broncos fans that are no longer big fans of Jay Cutler. The Bears are not who we thought they were. Cutler can’t get anything done in Chicago. Chicago is 4-6 after last night’s loss to the Eagles. Cutler has also thrown 18 interceptions. So maybe losing Cutler was that bad after all.
