Not So Funny Now
In my most recent blog, I made a joke about Brett Favre's return to the NFL. I guess it's not a joke anymore. Favre has officially signed with the Minnesota Vikings. So what does this mean for the Vikings? With Favre under center, I think the Vikings have a shot at going to the Super Bowl.
Favre holds records for most conseutive starts(253), most AP NFL MVP Awards(3), most wins by an NFL starting QB(160), most career passing TD's(442), most career passing yards(61,655), most career pass complations(5,377), most career pass attempts(8,758), and most career games with at least three touchdowns(63). Wow.
Needless to say, this guy is a future Hall of Famer. He has the ring, the records, and now the team. The Vikings made it the playoffs in 2008, and they could make it all the way to the Super Bowl in 2009.
Not only do they have Favre, they also have Adrian Peterson. Peterson is they best running back in the league.
Minnesota is definately a team to watch in 2009.
