Vikings Brett Favre Moves Closer to Becoming a Minnesota Viking

Brett Favre Moves Closer to Becoming a Minnesota Viking

It appears that Brett Favre hasn't yet realized that he is past his prime. The St Paul Pioneer Press is reporting the aging quarterback has put a $30,000 deposit on a residence in the area so he can play for the Minnesota Vikings. They also reported:

A Brett Favre signing with the Minnesota Vikings is expected to be announced in time for the start of the team's single-game ticket sales July 20.

I know the Vikings' Achilles heal is at signal caller, but don't you think the team would be doing themselves a favor and tried to lure the Cleveland Browns' Derek Anderson to the team instead of a has-been?
