Raiders JAMARCUS MISSED LAST WEEK WITH COACH’S BLESSING

JAMARCUS MISSED LAST WEEK WITH COACH’S BLESSING

As it turns out, the not-so-subtle message that Raiders coach Tom Cable sent to quarterback JaMarcus Russell this week didn’t arise from frustration on Cable’s part regarding Russell’s absence from the commencement of the team’s offseason workout program.

Per a league source, Russell missed the launch of the voluntary sessions because his mother had surgery last week.

Russell is now present, and the challenge as we explained earlier today will be to commit to being great, and to getting there as soon as possible.

Patience is no longer a prevailing quality in the NFL, and if Russell doesn’t provide a return fairly soon for the Raiders, they might have to start thinking about other plans for the position.

Well, I am not sure if this year is his last year to prove it, but the pressure will continue to mount unless there is visible improvement... however, he needs a legit number one receiver to throw to and an offensive line that can protect him without committing penalties.

When Gruden was asked if he would coach the Raiders again he was quoted as saying, ”Tomorrow if I could”.

Dude, the Kwame Harris excuse is long gone. The OL is a done deal.

We need to draft Crabtree/Mac and sign either Marvin Harrison or Holt.

And that's it. That's all Russell gets. If we can do that then ALL of the rest of our efforts need to be on the defensive side of the ball. That's all he needs. He can absolutely reach greatness status with that offense.

If you can't move the ball with that lineup you fucking suck. It's that simple. Especially when Lechler is nailing the opposing offense behind their own 20 and JLH is creating moster field position and scoring 5 or 6 TDs in the return game.

This is Russells 3rd year to prove he isn't a bust. To give him another year to prove it, would be ridiculous!

HA! I hear you man. But I still have a lil faith in JaBust.

McFadden is the Bestest offesive weapon the Raiders have. They just need to use him.
