I have been looking at dolphins video on nfl.com for a few hours now, and i can find much bad tape on this guy. Yeah the bigger guys push him around a lil bit, but he looked agile and got th job done, and looks to me like a solid pass blocker. But at center, all you need to do to be a good run blocker is get your guy turned and let your rb make the cut, and he did just that.

Looks to me guys like we got the better end of this deal, with grove not as athletic as satele, and cable should be happy as hell about this. To me, we dont take a center on day one.

I sure hope so. I didn't know much about the guy but from everything I read he seems to be an upgrade to Grove.

He has played every game since he has been in the NFL. Grove couldn't seem to stay healthy either. That in itself is another reason to look for a new center. Satele seems to be a better fit in a ZBS as well so I think he should do even better than he did in Miami. I think this is a big upgrade.

I agree also but we will need a rt to legitamize our o-line.I want crabtree just because on paper we will have one of the scariest offenses in the league, but thinking about it we might need to gamble on andre smith and plug him into rt leaving mario henderson backing up the rt and lt spots.
i really don't want to see merriman tossing down russell and watching tui lose the rest of the game for us.I cant bear another losing season.
so we take smith, draft a wr in round two and dt in third or trade up for another second and get our dt.In my humble opinion we need to solidify our o-line, but if we got crabtree I wouldn't mind rolling the dice.

I said on paper, russell, miller, bush, mcfadden, crabtree, if russell improves alot and crabtree is what everyone say's he is, then i don't know of too many teams that have that many skilled young players like we do.On paper it looks good, now for translating that into a winning season is totally different, that's why i'm debating drafting andre smith to give russell alot more time,or crabtree.it's a toss up for me.
