Ryan Leaf started 21 games before being unceremoniously tossed out on his ass.

Russell has now started 21 games.

In Leaf's last (4th) season with DAL he started 3 games, completed 51%, had 1 TD 3 INTs and a 58 rating.

Russell this season (3rd) has started 5, completing 42%, has 1 TD 4 INTs and a 47 rating.

It's not like Leaf's team and coaches were better than ours.

So someone please explain to me when it's OK to declare someone a bust and move on. Nobody disputes that Leaf was a POS bust and needed to hang them up. Yet many still want to ride Russell and hope he pans out.

Is everyone still hanging their hopes on those last 2 games in 08?

I doubt t6here's much of a division. Who wouldn't get pissed at the guy who's supposed to lead the team to victory fucking around, playing like shit and laughing?

Soon it will be Russell vs. the other 52.

And something else fits into this equation. The fans. We pay the fucking bills. We buy the fucking tickets and the merchandise. You just can't fuck us over forever and expect us to take it year in and year out.

What separates Fatass from Leaf is that Leaf was an unadulterated idiot off the field as well. This probably made shitcanning him that much easier. That and Beathard was probably trying to save face.

Something Davis has no interest in, obviously...

I think you may already being seeing the divide. Look at the way the defense played against the G men. It's hard to get up when you know you aren't even gonna get to the Gatorade before you're back on the field. Still, Crazy Al is gonna play it out. He don't give a shit about us!

i said this in the preseason, this team will not compete unless gump is on the bench, unless we are running the ball very well, or playing outstanding defense, we are not gonna win.

They are flat out sucking shit at all 3 so it looks like were fucked again. This game could be worse than last week.
