I was reading that Nnamdi Asomugha wants to go to the Jets and play with Darrelle Revis. He said that he and Revis have asked Rex Ryan to make it happen. That would suck to lose a classy player like Aso, but if the price was right I think it should be considered. What do you guys think.

Nnamdi is the crown jewel of this franchise. Al would want more than a king's ransom in return. The only way Nnamdi goes if if he demands a trade and holds out. I think he's far too dignified and intelligent to do that.

BTW - what does this say to Chris Johnson?

I just read this comment:

I really hope it's Revis coming to Oakland and not us losing Nnamdi Asomugha to the bitch Jets. Fuck some of that!

Revis will probably be another Hall if he came to Oakland.

Here’s a bit of what Asomugha had to say:

"Me and Revis have been talking to Rex to try to do something. You may see us in the future. There's a little bit of talk going on. Either he's coming to Oakland or something else will happen."

Let’s get this one out of the way: Revis is not coming to Oakland, so settle down. Asomugha and Revis wouldn’t be talking to Ryan about sending the Jets’ best player to the West Coast.

But I think most of this is in jest, anyway. Asomugha is a very bright man. He knows this arrangement is near impossible.

Last year, Asomugha signed a record $45 million, three-year deal with Oakland. The final year is a team option. Perhaps Oakland will not want to pay Asomugha in the final year and he will be cut loose. But the Raiders cherish Asomugha and they don’t mind paying star players big money.

Asomugha likely isn’t going anywhere.

Chalk this up to a little Pro Bowl week fun. Revis will stay a Jet and Asomugha will stay a Raider and life in the Raider Nation will move forward.

I say let him go do it.... here's a waste maybe this get him a shot at the playoffs.....he no longer wants to be here,I don't blame him...45. Million is not worth one pick a year. Wasted talent because this stupid fucking man to man scheme... good luck nmandi!

sorry i do not want sanchez. he showed flashes... but im just iffy on him. rather sumhow get clausen or bradford. preferrably clausen if we go new qb... but id rather ask for nick mangold (the center), d'brickashaw ferguson (their LT), brandon moore i believe his name is (thir starting RG), their #2cb (dwight lowery) and #3 CB (lito sheppard), the safety kerry rhoades who fell out of favor their but was imo pretty good, and their entire draft. al davis CANT POSSIBLY fuck up 2 full drafts... and next years jets #1...

the 2 cb's would be depth and much needed. lowery held up and did decent and is young so he would probably start opposite chris johnson. and sheppard and routt battle for nickel back. we finally have 4 competant cb's again.

the new LT, RG, and C would most likely all start immediatly. and the rest of our o-line can fill in and be cut... and the safety kerry rhoads. i like our safeties... in huff finally producing, tyvon is a budding star, mitchell has a future just needs to adjust to the pro's i believe, and eugene was a good find but i think is out. 4 competant safeties can go a long way... let them battle... and 2 full drafts. our 1-7 and the jets 1-7... al davis cant possibly screw them all up???? possibly even package a few together to get players that would help us... possibly a wr... and possibly move up and get sum1 like clausen... then we gain a #1 back for next years draft...

if al davis got that kind of kings random... id be totally fine with it... other than a ton of stuff... nahh sorry.

man, you're tripping. Sanchez, a rookie QB took his team all the way to the AFC Champ game. Yeah he showed flaws, but for being a rookie. He is bad ass. I'm no Jets fans, but I support Sanchez. I like Clausen as well, I rather have him develop under Jackson's system than wasting time trying to save Russell from being one of the biggest bust in the NFL. I say trade Aso and Russell for Sanchez and their OL. Done deal
