i think they'll bring fargas back... i keep reading michael bush is the center of a tonnn of trade talk at the combine cuz al davis is shopping the roster and since his salary is so small and he is so young... he is creating a buzz... if we trade him draft day we need a new running back... we will only have DMC who im scared to just go into the season with... so i think fargas will be brought back cheap. i think he likes it hear. and if im not mistaken he grew up in southern cal... and went to USC... so unless he went to... the dolts.... or the whiners... i dont think he goes anywhere... he likes cal and dont think he's about to up and leave after spending basically his whole life there.... so i think he'll come back for cheaper.... at least i hope... otherwise me might be going RB in round 1 or 2 again... if bush traded and fargas gone.

Fargas is the hardest worker on the team. Hate to see him go. Also thought Gerard Warren did a pretty good job. How about releasing stiffs who have no positive effect on being listed on the roster - Walker, Routt, and Al Davis.

Kind of a bitch move releasing a player that busts ass for you so you don't have to pay him his bonus. Sorry to hear that about Justin Fargas. He should sign elsewhere if the Raiders think they can release him and resign him to avoid paying him his bonus. Any other place of business the boss would get told to go fuck himself.

I do not mind this move that much - remember, this is business - not personal. The Raiders have two running backs behind Fargas that are younger and ready to go. So, as a business move, this makes sense: you do not want to over-pay in a position where you have alternatives. Paying Walker and not playing him does not make any business sense, but not wanting to pay a large bonus to an older player where the team has investments behind him makes business sense.
