Jerry McDonald, of The Oakland Tribune, reports the Oakland Raiders are in the market for a running back after releasing RB Justin Fargas. RB Darren McFadden has durability issues, and the Raiders seem reluctant to put too much on the shoulders of RB Michael Bush, so they will likely look to add another back through the NFL Draft or free-agent market.

Sooooo dumb!!!!....look for Al to go after LT...

LT hates the Raiders and good thing too because I don't want him. He's done.

You got that right buddy! What the hell? Al should be finding some players on DT or OT. That is where we should be focusing on. Hey, Al? You think we should pick up a punter or a kicker?

If they're in the market for a RB, why cut Fargas? He was arguably the most productive RB on the roster, and most definitely was the hardest working. So let's see - cut Fargas, save money on his roster bonus and go looking for a replacement who will require a signing bonus. WTF?

Al Davis is a fucking imbecile.

I think if anything Gary Russell is a better #3 than a FB.Not sure what happened to Louis Rankin but he would also be an option if available. I would be looking to find a FB that can pave the road.

We tendered Lawton, and I believe Gary is a UFA now.

What about Rankin? He was looking pretty good last year in preseason. I hate seeing Fargas go just because of how he plays but the bottom line is he is getting older & has taken a lot of hits. McFadden is young and needs to step up, Bush shows he is capable of a bigger workload. this isn't really a big position of need in my book. Like I said FB was more of a need. Maybe O'Neal will be fully recovered.
