WTF!? How do figure that? I said the guy is poison he's a cancer and bad person. When guys you play with don't like you that says something.... No it didn't...I want the money but i don't want to play in your system....That was haynesworth! He's nowhere a good enough player to build a defense around.

By the way, simply because a player has not spoken about Shanahan publicly does not mean that they all do not feel he is not wrong in any way. Not all.[/QUOTE] You don't need to say anything about the head coach to stand up for him... The silence is deafening.

You don't need to say anything about the head coach to stand up for him.... All that needs to be said is something along the lines of I wish he would show up cause we need him like lots of players did for Revis.

Revis was holding out of training camp before the start of the season and was threatening to hold out the entire season - Haynesworth missed some minicamps, so the the two situations are not exactly synonymous.

Also, your argument that he should give back the money because THEY decided to go in another direction is laughable. They agreed to contract; they changed directions; they should either work with him respectfully to convince him to try the new system or cut their losses and pay him his guaranteed portion of his contract. This is not a hard concept.

Again, they made the decision to go in another direction, it would be a different story if he decided that he no longer wished to play in the defense he specifically stipulated as wanting to play in and was holding out as a result; rather they changed systems on him and they let Shanahan's ego get in the way of what is best for their team.

When Gruden was asked if he would coach the Raiders again he was quoted as saying, ”Tomorrow if I could”.
