Default Hmm, Howard to the Titans?
It seems that Howard may be on the move to the Titans, however the Raiders do not want to pull the trigger until after they meet in the first week. This is just a rumor I read, so not sure how good this is.

I tweeted Saturday about the Titans having an interest in Raiders linebacker Thomas Howard, and I still believe that's the case.

The Titans have been bulking up at the position today, however, by claiming former Bears linebacker Tim Shaw and former Steelers linebacker Patrick Bailey off waivers.

Howard has started 62 games in his four-year NFL career, and he'd provide a big boost to a linebacker corps missing two players, David Thornton (injured) and Gerald McRath (suspended).

The big question: are the Raiders willing to deal him?

With the Titans scheduled to play the Raiders on Sept. 12, it wouldn't make any sense for the Raiders to help their opening day opponent by working a deal now. After Sept. 12? Perhaps.

Sounds like it's up to the Raiders at this point.
