Here is an example of a QB scouting report that the Raiders need to draft:

XXXXX has good size and arm strength, but it's his incredibly quick release and uncanny accuracy (71%) that catches my eye. He is an intelligent pocket passer, and he has good instincts for the position. Goes through his progressions well, often finding secondary receivers. Not very athletic, but he does throw well on the run. A tremendous leader who doesn't rattle easily.

This was the scouting report on Philip Rivers coming out of college. The Raiders need to draft a QB like this. For what it's worth, the negatives on him were his footwork and unorthodox throwing motion. Those positives definitely outweigh those negatives.

One good cover is not enough true, but it is easier to improve on one good cover than try to improve two. However, Nnamdi's contract may make him expendable.

He didn't yesterday. But I do agree he is important. A good QB is more important though but I don't think we would get fair value in return.

Yeah, Aso's injury apparently did get worse during the game. With no C. Johnson and a no Nnamdi and no QB (and no TE) the Raiders will continue to struggle as teams focus on stopping the run.
