Earlier this month it was South Carolina cornerback Chris Culliver and now it is Jimmy Smith.

The Oakland Raiders are reportedly bringing in the talented University of Colorado cornerback for a visit, according to the National Football Post.

The 6-foot-2, 211-pound cornerback has drawn comparisons to Raiders' All-Pro corner Nnamdi Asomugha.

Smith likes the comparison but he says he believes he has better ball skills than the talented Raider.

Asomugha however is expected to be one of the prize possessions when free agency starts. The Raiders, who don't have a first round pick, could be looking at Smith as a replacement for Asomugha.

Most drafts have Smith going towards the end of the first round, while others have him slipping into the second, where the Raiders do have a pick.

But Smith isn't falling because of a lack of talent. Some teams question his character after he was arrested for the underage possession of alcohol.

On the field, few college quarterbacks even tried to challenge Smith.
