Zach Miller Profile

Oakland Raiders veteran free agent tight end Zach Miller is visiting the Seattle Seahawks today, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.

There had been reports that he was likely to rejoin the Raiders, but that hasn't happened yet.

Now, he's exploring his options.

Hmm, perhaps Tom Cable trying to get back at the Raiders by either giving Miller leverage while the Raiders try to negotiate with him or simply by taking him - either way, the Raiders lose. Not good.

The Raiders need Miller to help keep defenses honest. Losing Miller would end up hurting the Raiders running game - not to mention the obvious; hurt the passing game.

When Gruden was asked if he would coach the Raiders again he was quoted as saying, ”Tomorrow if I could”.

Though, small, yes - the Raiders HAD a passing game. However, without Miller, whatever passing game the Raiders had, is seemingly much, much smaller now. However, IF Chaz S. can stay healthy the whole season, the Raider passing game may yet improve.

Don't worry...we might get Kevin Boss. He's not as good as Zack Miller, but he's still good.
