hey guys,
been awhile since i logged on... just been really busy. started a new job with the water company that pays very nicely, but it also takes up a ton of time! with on call shifts on the weekends and all that stuff...

ANYWAYS... i live out here on the east coast (right outside philly, pa)... so the game out here isnt on any channels except NFL network... and it is not on until 2am on Saturday night... well i guess that is sunday morning... i think thas what tv guide said... i have the nfl package... but that doesnt start till week 1... anyways i was wandering if any of you could possibly burn it onto a DVD and mail it to me??? if you could do this for me i'll give you my shipping address and i'll even go buy a case of blank dvd's (10 pack or something) and mail it to the return address listed on my dvd... if anybody could do this for me i'll be very greatful! i REALLY cant get enough of the raiders like all the rest of you, and i dont want anybody to go out of their way, but if any of you burn dvd's and know how to do this and wouldnt mind doing this id truly appreciate it!

like i said my job takes up a ton of my time and i really cant afford to lose that much sleep by staying up at 2am till ... 4-5am to watch the preseason game... so i dont care if i get it in a week or 2... i just cant wait to watch it and yea... anyways any help would be GREATLY appreciated...

Hey man, congrats on your job. I just moved to Philly not to long ago, so I feel your pain. I use NFL Pre-Season Pass. It is only $19.99 right now. Worth it for a football junkie in my view. In regards to burning, unfortunately my desktop computer is still back in CA in storage right now - I am only using a laptop.

thanks! oh forreal? like in philly or near? im from reading area if u kno where that is?? kinda near allentown?? but yea it sux out here cuz these night games r like 1am and what not... but its nice for home games cuz they arent till like 4pm... so i have all morning and some of the afternoon to get what i need to done... yea but my only issue is comcast internet has been giving me issues so i dont think itd keep up... but yea junkie is quite the statement for me... but dude one thing that pisses me off (not sure how long u been in philly now) but when the eagles got asante samuel all their fans were like oh hes the best cb in the league... i shut them all up by sayin asomugha was the best... and they all had the same response... whose that... he sux i never heard of him... i was like u dint hear of him cuz he never gets passed on... and now they sign him and every eagles fan is like omg hes the best ever... oh man i get fired up lol... 2 years ago u dint kno who he was... now ur team signs him and hes the best ever.... but anyways lol... thanks anyways my man... im on twitter (dont actually tweet) but follow a bunch of raiders and also a few raider reporters... lemme kno if u want summa the good ones to follow that go to practice and what not and i can give you their names to follow and its pretty cool to have like 3 different reporters from training camp tweeting and following their tweets... but yea anyways thanks anyways my man...

p.s. hope hiram eugene is ok... heard he had a very serious injury and needed the stretcher (leg injury)... not good...

I currently live near Philly - about 20 or minutes on SEPTA. However, I have worked in Philly and hopefully will be doing so again in the spring.

Yeah, I have heard of Reading/Allentown, but have never been there. Oh, it will be hard dealing with Eagles fans as the season progresses, no doubt. They are like the Miami Heat of the NFL right now - with the exception of New England, which is also disliked by many other fans outside of Boston.

In regards to Hiram Eugene - it seems that either he will be out for the season or the league. That is obviously very serious, though details about the injury are hard to find. They did not show it at NFL.com, but apparently, it was a Napoleon McCallum-type injury. Hopefully, he will make a full recovery.

thanks for the heads up blazin1... i just read that today... which doesnt help since the game was yesterday lol... but i feel like they shoulda had more commrecials on that or w/e... but supposedly they did a redzone type thing on NFL network (which i think u get once u buy the nfl package)... but i coulda at least saw live bits and pieces and replays...

and tenebrous... yea these philly fans are rediculous... i hated that the heat at their "dream team"... and was so glad when they lost... but it makes me sick to think that the eagles might win it all... to live hear and have them 2 years ago to make fun of me for wearing an authentic asomugha jersey and not knowing how to say his name or even kno who he is... now they are all saying "we have him" and about their secondary.. and blah blah blah... sick of it already and PRESEASON just started...

im guessing you all heard but hiram eugene had a dislocated him... but they said it was bent at a funny angle and he couldnt even stand or get on the cart by himself... but a dislocated hip is a big deal and they are saying season might be over...

but even bigger... supposedly on an end around chaz got up a little sore and was being checked out by the trainers... hue jackson has a presser today at 5pm... im guessing california time zone so not till a little later (6:31pm here and no word)... but he will address chaz and eugene they said...
