5-11 or 4-12.... Al Davis blew it cause he was upset with cable going about things his way...we were 8-8 and he fired him...I could understand if that if he had been head coach for maybe 4 years... He kept Jackson cause he like the ass kissing that comes with him "Coach Davis" ass Jackson referred to him...I believe that Miller, Nnamdi, Gallery not the he's a big loss would have stayed if Cable was still HC... He brought in Chuck because he's the only D-coordinator that would take the job...Remember they didn't want to name him defensive coordinator because they were actively looking for someone else... No one will coach the defense with this bullshit man defense all day long like the old man wants... we saw a preview of things to come against the Saints.... It's going to be a long year again.

Raiders wont play a rookie CB. Raiders will go 9-7. Lose a few in final minutes of game.

Playoffs, that's all.

Despite the fact that Al Davis made the absolute right decision in promoting Hue Jackson and releasing Tom Cable, this year still worries me. It would have made no sense to risk losing Coach Jackson by keeping Cable. What was the Raiders record before Jackson, under Cable, and what was the record with Hue Jackson? However, despite the right head coaching decision, there are still other concerns - mostly with the defense and offensive line. I liked Coach Marshall, but do not like Coach Bresnahan (sp). So, with that being stated, I would not be surprised if the team went 8-8, though a better record would obviously be nicer.

Seymour Henderson Johnson The only thing that worried me about our D was our lack of pass rush. Brees looked very comfortable back there. It concerned me a bit the way Wimbley was getting handled. I think our offense will be a lot better this season and our D will be about the same. 10-6 is not out of the question. |
