Default A look at Raiders' 2012 draft

Thanks to ESPN Stats & Information for putting together this nice chart on the Raiders 2012 draft picks:

Oakland Raiders 2012 draft picks:

1st round: Traded to Bengals for Carson Palmer

2nd round: Traded to Patriots for 2011 3rd- and 4th-rd picks

3rd round: Exercised in 2011 supplemental draft (Terrelle Pryor)

4th round: Traded to Redskins for Jason Campbell

5th round: Still own pick

6th round: Still own pick

7th round: Traded to Seahawks for Aaron Curry

Of course, the Raiders should get some relief. They are expected to be assigned two or three comp picks next spring. They will receive picks for the free-agent losses of players such as Nnamdi Asomugha, Zach Miller and Robert Gallery. The comp-pick process is a complicated formula based on play time and performance.

Still, it wouldn't be a shock if the Raiders get the top comp pick of the 20012 draft. That would be No. 97, at the end of the third round.

We will be ok moving forward we just have to stay put for two years and not give away any more picks especially our 2013 picks with the exception of the one we have to give away for the Palmer trade.

Who cares! We got a bunch of young dudes anyway. I'm not crying about trading about the 1st. raiders always blow that pick anyway.

We should be okay for at least two years. We're young and ready to conquer!

Fuck the draft. There are other ways to add young talent. The Curry trade comes to mind.

I feel the same way... Bigger risk to pick a first rounder and he blows... Most of our starters are later round picks anyway.

Not worried at all, all these analyst say we mortgaged our future. With two late 1st rd picks????. Im sure the Raiders will finish strong this year and next years to come.
