| Can't go wrong with that. It just might be the single best mass-produced tactical .45 on the market. Some people swear by Glocks but Sigs are far superior IMO. But then I much prefer the SA trigger pull on a hammered gun to the mushy trigger pull on a striker-fired weapon. And I'm not all that crazy about polymer. Your kids will be handing that P220 and that P226 down to their grandchildren. That is, if we're all still free to own guns at that point... |

![]() Bah - it is bad. I have also read that Cali is likely going to require all new guns that are submitted for their approval to have this monstrosity. I grew up in Cali and went to college in Cali - now, I am in PA for graduate school. First off, in PA the whole market of firearms is available - I would've not been able to get the gun that I posted in this thread in CA. Honestly, it feels good to be able to decide on what you want rather than on what choices the state wants you to have. Secondly, I picked up my gun, the day I paid for it. No waiting, no ridiculous hurdles. The taste of real freedom is nice. Right now, I am trying to decide on where to go after grad school; most likely, either stay in PA or move back to Cali. Even though, I hate the ridiculous laws and restrictions in California - Cali is home, it is where I was raised, and the weather is much nicer in So Cal. PA, on the other hand, is relatively free. No ridiculous gun laws, no helmet laws - you can even ride your bike (chopper) without a helmet here - no crazy liberal agenda forced down everyone's throat. However, Philly does have some weird alcohol laws - though, in the end, I can still get whatever alcohol I want - just need to go to separate stores. Also, there are other considerations, but it is a tougher decision, than I initially thought that it would be.
