Default Miie Waufle is now with the Rams

Bah, Raiders lose another solid coach - so far the team is going in the wrong direction. I am not liking the new GM at all. By the way, KC is still looking for an OC and Coach Jackson is available - this is not lookin' good.

When Gruden was asked if he would coach the Raiders again he was quoted as saying, ”Tomorrow if I could”.

I think we have to be a little patient with RM at the moment he's was not kidding when he said he wants a fresh start and i believe the team will be kept intact some pieces are going to change the biggest changes are definitely the coaching staff MAYBE RM is waiting to interview Chuck Pagano from Baltimore he would be my choice also lets not forget Al Saunders is still under contract he is the one coach i would love to keep.

Winston Moss already interviewed in Oakland

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on January 22, 2012, 1:07 PM EST

The presumptive favorite for the Raiders head coaching job quietly interviewed for the job before anyone realized it.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Packers assistant head coach Winston Moss met with Raiders G.M. Reggie McKenzie for four hours last Saturday after the Packers completed preparations for their game against the Giants. Mike Tice interviews on Tuesday.

Moss has long been seen as the favorite for the job, although speculation recently is starting to go in another direction. Schefter adds to the growing speculation that Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhingweg has a good chance to get the job.

The Raiders are expected to make their choice by the end of the week.

I wouldn't say Waufle was a solid coach. I wouldn't compliment ANYONE responsible for that abortion of a defense.

Okay if this Mornhinweg speculation is true than I lost all respect
for the new GM. This guy is a proven loser... This is the same guy that elected to defer in an overtime game. I'm not liking where this is going.

You cannot always judge the part, by the whole. The D was horrid, but the line more often than not played better than the rest of the D. Though, to your point, this could have been because the rest of the D was so bad - however, Waufle struck me as a solid coach and the line seemed to improve when he arrived.

Well, at least he would be consistent - one bad move followed by another. This is not lookin' good right now.
