 Palmer's Contract and Jackson
Palmer, as I recall, still has a sizeable contract. I would imagine that he would have been more open to adjusting it, if the Coach that brought him there was not so unceremoniously fired. His ties with Hue may make Palmer very expensive - too expensive to keep? Firing Coach Jackson looks like an even bigger mistake.

Yeah, I read somewhere that he is scheduled to make 11.5 million - that is going to hurt in free agency unless he agrees to restructure. However, after the Raiders foolishly fired Coach Jackson prematurely, who worked to bring him to Oakland, who can say how Palmer will react. It seems, that at the very least, he may be less inclined to restructure his contract with the Raiders.
