Report: Seahawks had concerns about Cory Redding's knee

The Seahawks had concerns about the health of Cory Redding's knee, according to Mike Sando of ESPN.com. Here's a link to his report right here.

"The Seahawks' trade for Cory Redding hit a brief snag when a routine medical exam showed an issue with a tendon in one of the defensive lineman's knees.

"The discovery delayed the trade. Tests eased any concerns and the Seahawks feel great about what Redding offers in terms of versatility and potential."
-- Mike Sando, ESPN.com

When the Seahawks made Redding available for a teleconference last Monday, reporters in Detroit still had not interviewed Julian Peterson. They were told by the Lions that's because the paperwork had not been finalized. Sando's report provides the explanation as there apparently was a delay in signing off on Redding's condition after he underwent the physical examination.
