Yawn. The Rams filled their obvious need by grabbing a potentially dominant offensive tackle. They used the full 10 minutes, didn’t get a suitable trade offer and went ahead and made the sane pick.

Smith has tremendous athletic ability and plenty of upside. He is not polished, however. And Alex Barron is better on the left side than the right. So it will be fun to see how this plays out.

We’ll say this for Smith — he will be one of the most personable guys on this team. The media will love him.
